Center for Medical Mycology serves as a clinical site for studies of systemic and superficial mycoses. It also acts as the central laboratory for culture processing.

The main aim of the Clinical Trial Unit is the development of uniform criteria to evaluate new antifungal agents in geographically and ethnically diverse populations in the most efficient possible way.

This will maximize the collection of meaningful clinical and mycologic data that can be used to define more relevant clinical outcome and facilitate efficient correlation of clinical, mycologic and therapeutic information.

We have previous experience with clinical trials which gives us the confidence to perform and be part of more such trials. The Center acts as the central lab site in such trials.

We will help you identify physicians who can participate in clinical trials.

We will also help you develop protocols for such trials.
